  Wow! Not sure where Ivan has been but it sure isn't the same place I know. Yup. It was the Bears Den. In 1999 / 2000 and for some time before that it was a run down dump. Trailers that were decrepit and had shanty shacks tacked on the sides. Wooden shingled roofs built over the trailers because the original roof leaked, abandoned cars on some of the sites, a trailer site with a heavy chain slung between trees with a sign saying NO TRESSPASSING and best of all people getting into fist fights. If that's what you call much better I'm sure glad you're not there now. It's a very clean and friendly family oriented park where kids are able to run and play. I've never seen washrooms that come close to those in the park outside of a hotel. Theme events, concerts, fireworks, Christmas in July dinner and more. Most of the park is seasonal sites and is a community but there are some transient sites. Every year we look forward to the opening weekend and dread the closing weekend.

  Back in the late 90's and early 2000's this place used to be called ( Bear's den ).. Believe it or not people this place used to be top 5 campground in and around this area. I've had my party days there long weekends party's and nothing but a great campground. Since it has changed names and ownership it has never been the same. It not kept up to date, playground is old, people there with there trailers all season long are really nice and friendly but campsites aren't the greatest like how it once used to be and soon on. Over all I had me blast and fun here when I was single and I've came back since I got married with kids and the park is totally unfit for kids safety..
